Schlitz Park - Endeavour Cycling Challenge

Saturday, July 18, 2009
Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Come watch the riders toil up 2nd street in a bid for glory as the International Cycling Classic returns to this historic and challenging course for a full day of racing.

The Historic King Drive Business Improvement District is proud to host the eighth-annual Schlitz Park Endeavour Cycling Challenge. Just like the racing, the revitalization effort along King Drive is red-hot. Over the last eight years, the area has seen over $100 million in residential and commercial development. Moving forward, the Business Improvement District is focusing on pushing development further north along the corridor. The Business Improvement District views the Cycling Challenge as an opportunity to showcase the tremendous development opportunity available. The race allows us to fulfill our commitment to invite people to Revisit, Revitalize and Redevelop Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive.
