Chase Food Folks & Spokes

Friday, July 24, 2009
Kenosha, Wisconsin

Kenosha's Chase Food Folks & Spokes joined the Superweek circuit in 1991 and quickly established itself as the race site with "something for everyone." Organized and hosted by the Kenosha YMCA (formerly the Kenosha Youth Foundation), this event regularly draws up to 30,000 spectators throughout the day-long slate of races in all categories, including Juniors.

Centered in downtown Kenosha's beautiful and historic Library Park, a full line-up of activities augment the races throughout the day! The Festival of Food features delicious food and beverages from area restaurants that will be sure to please everyone's taste. There are lots of adventures for kids at the Children's Hospital of WI - Kenosha Fun Fest for Kids featuring games, rides and all kinds of other fun activities! The American Family Insurance Entertainment Stage will offer live entertainment for all ages throughout the day as well. You can also shop at Harbor Market or receive free health screenings at the Walgreens Take Care Health Tour. For more information, to volunteer for this event or to sign up for the Big Wheel Races, stop by the Kenosha YMCA or call (262) 654-9622 x133.
